Arguments against vaccine passports
A placeholder post – since there is some good info out there but I’ve not been tracking it systematically. Time permitting, I hope to write a comprehensive article for my TOI blog on this issue.
Vaccine passports/mandates are wrong. It is unscientific to demand people with prior COVID disease to be vaccinated. They already have excellent immunity.
— Martin Kulldorff (@MartinKulldorff) July 27, 2021
How can they possibly introduce a vaccine passport? @sajidjavid
My young adult kids, who have had Covid, enjoy far better and longer lasting immunity than anyone who is double jabbed.
Yet it is they who will be forbidden to enter a club/theatre.

This was well before Donald Henderson's rejection of such measures even for small pox. If you can't stop each index case, these are futile.

If the “vaccines” work as promised there is no legitimate reason to coerce decliners to submit.
If the “vaccines” don’t work as promised there is also no legitimate reason to coerce decliners to submit.
Why doesn’t everyone see that?

If vaccines reduced transmission, I would expect that countries with higher vaccination have fewer new cases than less vaccinated countries.
Instead there's no correlation between vaccinations and cases, see my graph below.

VAX PASSES PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH… REALLY??
If you think vax passes are necessary to protect public health, consider these facts:
1/ vaccines protect against severe disease in vulnerable groups INDEPENDENTLY of vax status of other citizens.

IF YOU SUPPORT A VAX PASS SYSTEM, YOU ARE HANDING YOUR GOVERNMENT A VERY DANGEROUS POWER
Allowing a government to deny citizens entry to social venues based solely on their vaccination status hands political elites an incredibly powerful tool for controlling citizens’ behaviour. pic.twitter.com/qF7AaZsEML

Canadian academics spell it out:
"Mandatory vaccination for COVID has no rational basis. We must wonder what the true motivations are when public health doctors, union leaders and politicians insist on vaccine passports." https://t.co/jdyxEDY2LF pic.twitter.com/h5425Gvzqm

Must Read: “Harvard Epidemiologist Dr @MartinKulldorff says that the case for Covid vac passports was just demolished…”
“…means vac passports are both unscientific & discriminatory”

Vaccine passports make NO logistical, ethical, or scientific sense.

— Dominique Samuels (@DominiqueTaegon) September 9, 2021
Opposition to discriminatory vaccine mandates is not the same as opposition to vaccines. On the contrary, support for vaccine mandates is an anti-vax position because it breeds distrust and resentment toward public health.
— Jay Bhattacharya (@DrJBhattacharya) September 4, 2021
Many "experts" are incapable of thinking through 2nd-order effects of vax mandates:
1. Hosp. staff shortages
2. New underclass (poor, minorities, working-class) barred from society
3. More COVID spread b/c vax does not stop infection
4. Collapse of trust in PH
Shameful indeed. https://t.co/eX6XCnKsmN

If 70-80% of the UK is jabbed
& the jab works
94% has antibodies
We’ve Reached herd immunity
Why are they constantly talking about covid passports?
For 20-30% which the majority is youth that don’t suffer
MORE LIKE THE NUMBERS ARE IRRELEVANT, THE PASSPORT IS THE GOAL
— HookeyGolfer (@HookeyGolfer) September 9, 2021
As there is literally no credible health argument for vaccine passports, no wonder concerns are being raised as to whether they are being brought in as a form of state authoritarianism and Orwellian mass ID digitalisation. #NoVaccinePassports
— James Melville (@JamesMelville) August 13, 2021
0/ People keep saying that vaccine passports might be sensible (albeit still unethical!) policy IF they were preventing the vaccinated from getting infected and infecting others (but the vaccines appear not to be).
— Mark Changizi – youtube.com/c/markchangizi (@MarkChangizi) August 12, 2021
How about passports only for those with prior COVID disease, while excluding the vaccinated, as they have weaker immunity? NO, that is almost as stupid as vaccine passports. https://t.co/d14kTPnCWk

The Pfizer COVID vaccine protects against severe disease and death for at least 6 months, while protection against asymptomatic and symptomatic infections wanes rapidly. pic.twitter.com/S4G55JUuDK

The mandated vax rests on a legal precedent from smallpox, with a case fatality rate = 30%, 30 of 100 dx died. W/ Covid, for those <80, it’s .01%, 0 die of 100 dx. For >80 it’s 6%, 6 die of 100 dx >80. 6% is the overall mortality rate for >80 since it exceeds the ave. life exp!

Reminder that the vaccine passport is the digital ID. The digital ID is the social credit score. The social credit score is total state control of behaviour, activity and purchases.

Retweet if you agree vaccination passports is fascism of the 21st century.

The argument against vaccine passports in 8 words: every other pandemic in history disappeared without them.
— Stacey Rudin (@stacey_rudin) August 23, 2021
We’ve had a flu vaccine for a LONG TIME and we still have the flu. People still die of it all the time, yet we never shame anyone for failing to take the vaccine, or act as if universal vaccination could even theoretically eradicate the illness.

Let me ask you something.
If you think that your vaccine works then why do you care if I have had mine?
If you think that your vaccine doesn’t work then why do you want me to get one?
Looking forward to your response.
