Thoughts on economics and liberty

Rajneesh (Osho), even in the 1960s, was a STAUNCH fighter for capitalism. What a wonderful talk!

I’ve cited Osho’s wonderful writings against socialism and religion.

I’ve just been sent a youtube clip where someone’s uploaded his audio from around 45 years ago (in the tape he says we’ve had independence for 20 years, so this was presumably recorded in around 1967).

Listen from 3 minutes 40 seconds. This is absolutely BRILLIANT. What a magical speaker. If we can find ONE speaker with this clarity of thought on Swarna Bharat Party, India can be changed overnight.

Leadership is the missing link.

  1. Random guy

Osho was a confused moron who. could never stay consistent on any issue. If he spoke against socialism in the 60’s, a couple of decades later he praised Stalin for his genocidal reign. His logic being that the poor peasants killed by Stalin were roadblocks in the establishment of communism. According to him, communism was a better system than any other system known to man. Please read his book Communism and Zen Fire for more.

Thanks. Good to know this. I’m not interested in Rajneesh, but sometimes people send in some stuff. I’m not sure I’ve got the time/energy to pursue his other works at this stage. Had you send a URL I might have spent half a second.

You are right. This is amazing nonsense. I haven’t read the whole of it, but have made note to read and to better understand, when time permits.

It would be wrong on my part to promote Rajneesh as a clear headed thinker if he has been babbling all this nonsense. But let me study this issue a bit more – can take a lot of time (too many other priorities).
