Thoughts on economics and liberty

I’m now 100 per cent sure that Somnath Bharti ran Madgen and

I was not willing to give too much credence to the spam reports against Somnath but now things have changed.

Regardless of whatever Somnath Bharti now claims, he can’t change RECORDED history. From a tip in the following video (at the bottom) I searched for old records of and confirmed UNAMBIGUOUSLY that Somnath ran, a company deeply implicated in illegal spam.

Here are screen shots to substantiate this. These are ALWAYS going to be available since waybackmachine is an automatic robot, and can never be manipulated.

Full details are available here:

I have NOT AN IOTA OF DOUBT that Somnath was a senior representative of topsites, if not the CEO.

It is also clear that topsites was involved in directory spam and made money immorally if not illegally. A detailed investigation by Arvind Kejriwal (former IRS) of Somnath Bharti’s bank and associated accounts will disclose how much he declared to the income tax authorities out of the money he raised in this immoral/illegal manner.

Somnath is blaming BJP for all this. But how can he explain away this evidence?

Do see this. []

And it lists Somnath Bharti as the CEO.

India Today has raised direct questions. In my view Somnath Bharti should publish his income tax statements since 2003. It is my understanding that his law business started only about three years ago, and has not been successful. His property and assets are significant and it would be helpful to explain the sources of his wealth.

My comment on India Today

I have known Somnath Bharti for a number of years now, and believe he has his merits, particularly while defending Vikram Buddhi. However, it is 100 per cent clear from the analysis of archival public documents in this case (which can’t be erased) that TopSites was owned by Somnath. Also AllWebHunt. It is also clear that Somnath possesses significant assets which are not explained by his law business which started relatively recently. For India to be sure that he has a clear audit trail of his assets, let Somnath publish his income tax statements since 2003, and disclose the source of his assets. How many times did he visit USA and what was the source of his income to afford those trips? His claims of not being given a chance are incorrect. I have asked him repeatedly on FB to clarify – and he should come clear on his past, his income and his assets. He also has a blog. He can clarify on that. No one can stop him from clarifying.

What’s more troubling is, how many more such people have you collected in FTI that still remain? AAP didn’t even do a Google-check on Mr. Bharti. Did you? Why?

  2. Sanjeev Sabhlok

FTI checks for idelogical compatibility and a self-declaration re: compliance with code of conduct. We have a disciplinary process should any anomaly be found.

Note that the truth always emerges in the end. It is not possible nor desirable to do more than this.

Would such behaviour as this be permitted/excused in FTI or would it be considered “anomalous”? Remember, spamming and many kinds of online fraud are not (yet) illegal in India beacuse of the fools in-charge of lawmaking.

My view on this is clear, regardless of the law. Any attempt to spam to achieve a COMMERCIAL advantage is unethical. I sometimes get emails from AAP. I never subscribed to such emails but that doesn’t mean such information is spam. I assume I have the capacity to get out of such AAP emails. However, to send messages prompting people to pay money – without a genuine commercial proposition, and without using normal means of advertising – would amount in my view to unethical practice not worthy of a FTI leader.

I’d in any case want a thorough explanation.
